Exterior external wall insulation adds a new weatherproof layer to the building, as well as slowing the movement of heat through the walls. Another advantage is that external wall insulation will cause the temperature of the walls themselves to rise. This means if there is lots of water vapour in the air (from cooking, washing, or drying clothes inside the building), this will no longer condense on the freshly insulated walls.
The environmental impact of carbon emissions is increasingly relevant, and our solutions reduce the carbon footprint of buildings. This is done by protecting buildings from heat loss, enhancing the external appearance in addition to improving thermal efficiency which reduces energy usage.
Green Homes Grant Voucher Scheme (GHGV)
In September 2020, the UK Government launched the Green Homes Grant Voucher Scheme to allow proprietors to receive funding up to 5,000 pounds towards installing energy saving measures to their properties, including insulating your home to reduce energy use or installing low carbon heating to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
